Treatments
I offer a range of holistic treatments and all details are below. The treatments can be booked as individual treatments or I can offer bespoke treatments if you would like more than one thing during the session. For example, reiki, crystals and sound can be combined into one session or reflexology and reiki. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
I offer treatments for either 1hr - £35, 45 minutes - £30 or 30 minutes - £25
I am able to do a length of treatment to suit you and can also provide longer than those listed above.
Reiki
Reiki is a system of natural energy healing which has been used for thousands of years. Rei-Ki means universal life-force energy. Everything in the universe is made up of energy vibrating at different rates. Reiki acts holistically, affecting all the energies comprising the body, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Reiki is performed hands on and off and has been shown to effectively stimulate the relaxation response. When we relax deeply enough this stimulates our body's own natural healing.
Crystals
Crystals can be used in many ways during a healing, in a basic healing to balance the chakras and align the auric layers. Crystals are laid on the chakras to bring what is needed to them at the time of healing in order to bring balance and allow them to open.
Chakras are energy centers within the body and these need to be open. You can get energy blocks in the chakras, these can be mental or physical leaving 'marks' in the area. Physical injury or illness can also leave a trace within the chakra. Most likely, though, it will be the thoughts surrounding the injury or illness and your reaction to how it left you feeling. The patterns in our lives are contained within the chakras and auric layers and have long lasting effects.
Crystals can also be used in more advanced healing, using energy grids, soul pattern clearing, repairing etheric tears, and repairing damaged cords. This can be deep work and I would usually advise a few basic healings before delving into anything more advanced, especially if you are new to having healings.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a complimentary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing. It is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that different reflex points on the feet and hands correspond with different areas and organs of the body and as a reflexologist I work these points and areas with various massage techniques.
Reiki Drum Technique
Throughout history, some sounds have come to be regarded as sacred and healing, the drumbeat being one of these. For thousands of years drumming has been a deep and sacred part of indigenous cultures worldwide.
Combining reiki and the drum is a method of using the drum to introduce reiki into a persons energy field to bring about deep relaxation. The drum rhythm reminds the body of its optimal vibration.
In studies on a physical level drumming has shown to positively alter blood pressure and cortisol levels, natural killer cells are more active and research indicates that drumming also aids the production of endorphins and assisting in pain control.
On a spiritual level, the vibrations of the drum beat encourage mental, emotional and spiritual energy bodies to realign and chakras to become balanced, resulting in emotional and mental harmony. Our consciousness shifts and we are able to reach our true spiritual selves.
Sound
It is the basic desire of any type of sound healing to move the energy of the body, the mind or the spirit from a state of imbalance back to balance - from a low vibration to a higher vibration and it is with any type of sound instrument that we try to bring back harmony, where healing can take place, energy can be lifted and balance restored.
I achieve this with a variety of percussion instruments, brass singing bowls and the drum. Although I am always adding to my range of instruments where I can. Sound healing blends wonderfully with crystals and reiki to make a lovely bespoke treatment.
